Lowers cholesterol levels in the blood
It has been proven that frequent consumption of kefir helps reduce high levels of “bad” cholesterol or LDL. Therefore, it is beneficial for preventing the appearance of many cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks and strokes.
The Secretary of Health in Russia recommends a minimum consumption of 36 liters of Kefir per person per year.
