Scope of the Notice
This Notice applies to the processing of personal data collected on Marusia's official sites and channels (e.g., marusia.life , marusiatienda.com , and other official domains that may be indicated), as well as by telephone, WhatsApp, mail and authorized points of sale.
1) Personal data that is processed
Identification and contact: name, email address, telephone numbers, delivery/billing address(es).
Transactional: order history, payment methods used (e.g., “PayPal”, “card”, “transfer”).
Billing: RFC and tax information.
Support/attention: communication content, complaints, surveys.
Tracking technologies: cookie identifiers, IP address, pages visited, browsing time and referrals.
Marusia does not request or store full bank card details on its systems; payment is processed through payment providers (e.g., PayPal or equivalent gateway).
Marusia does not collect sensitive personal data (health, ideology, biometrics, etc.) to sell and deliver products. If, for any program or service, it becomes necessary to collect data of this nature, you will be informed and your explicit consent will be requested.
2) Purposes of the processing
Primary (do not require consent):
Process and fulfill orders, make deliveries and provide after-sales service.
Billing, managing payments and clarifications.
To comply with legal obligations and attend to requests from authorities.
Prevent fraud and ensure the security of systems.
Secondary (require consent or possibility of opposition):
Sending promotions, satisfaction surveys, content and news.
Development of business metrics and analytics (e.g., purchasing habits) for statistical or service improvement purposes.
Data subjects can opt out of receiving marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in each message or by contacting the privacy channels.
3) Transfers and those in charge
Personal data may be shared with:
Personnel providing services to Marusia (payments, courier and parcel delivery, hosting, mail, marketing, support).
Competent authorities , when legally required.
Companies of the same group or business partners, only for the purposes described and with confidentiality measures.
Some providers may be located outside of Mexico (e.g., cloud services, payment gateways). These transfers are carried out under contracts and appropriate safeguards. Certain transfers do not require consent because they are necessary for the legal relationship or mandated by law.
4) Tracking technologies (cookies and similar)
Marusia uses cookies, web beacons, and other technologies to remember preferences, measure site usage, and improve the user experience. These technologies can be disabled through your browser or configured via the site's cookie banner . Use of the site implies acceptance of this Notice and the Cookie Policy .
5) Data retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes and applicable provisions (e.g., tax obligations) and is subsequently deleted after a blocking phase , where appropriate.
6) Security
Marusia applies reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized use/access/disclosure. All third parties involved in the processing must maintain confidentiality , even after the relationship has ended.
7) ARCO rights and revocation of consent
Data subjects may access, rectify, cancel, or oppose the processing of their personal data (ARCO rights), as well as revoke their consent and limit its use or disclosure (e.g., unsubscribe from marketing), by sending a request to ventas@marusia.life
Minimum content of the request: name and means of communication; document that proves identity (or representation); clear description of the right being exercised/data to which it refers; documents that support the request (if applicable).
Legal deadlines: the response will be issued within a maximum of 20 business days from receipt; if applicable, the request will be fulfilled within a maximum of 15 additional business days .
In the case of incomplete applications, additional information will be required within the legally established timeframes. If the data subject wishes to object to automated processing that significantly affects them or to request a human review , they must indicate this in their application.
8) Minors
Marusia's websites and services are not directed at individuals under 18 years of age . Any data belonging to minors found without parental or guardian consent will be deleted immediately.
9) Competent authority
If it is considered that the right to data protection has been violated, the data subject may go to the Secretariat of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance (competent authority for the private sector) through the channels established by the Government of Mexico.
10) Changes to the Notice
Marusia may modify this Privacy Notice at any time to reflect legal, internal, or service changes. The current version will be available on official websites and, when necessary, will be communicated through the registered contact methods.
