Regulates the immune system

Another benefit of kefir is that it helps us regulate and stimulate the immune system.

Kefir helps improve defenses naturally, regulating inflammation, allergic response and immune function. A study in Japan on kefir in 2012 found that a byproduct of the culture of kefir granules can reduce allergic inflammation by suppressing the granulation or release of mast cell production. Another study in China in 2010 found that a bacteria cultured from kefir granules inhibits IgE production, which helps moderate the body's allergic response.
